USE OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCTS

Against cotton bollworm: the first treatment is carried out when 4 pests are detected in 100 generative organs after the beginning of combing, and subsequent treatments are carried out when 20 pests are detected in 100 generative organs.

Cotton aphid: in the period of thinning of seedlings, 10 percent infected seedlings, and in the period of growth, if an average of 5 aphids are detected on 1 leaf, treatment is recommended.

Against cicadas in cotton: in observations, a cotton field of 1 hectare is divided into 4 parts. From each section, 1 leaf from the lower, middle and upper parts of the randomly selected plants, totaling 25 leaves, were counted. In this way, the average number of pests per leaf on a total of 100 leaves is determined. If an average of 10 mites are detected on each leaf, treatment should be carried out. During the treatment, the plants should be moistened as best as possible, and the lower surfaces of the leaves should also be covered with the medicinal mixture.

Against aphids in apples: if 5-15 out of 100 buds are affected or 5-10 colonies are visible during the growing season, it should be treated. In general, fruit trees should be treated against aphids before flowering and in summer.
