CHEMICAL APPLICATION METHOD
BAYSTAR, A defoliant applied 10-14 days before cotton picking and defoliating the leaves in their green state. It is taken up by the leaves and causes early tissue damage at the junction of the stem with the stem, causing the leaves to drop in their green state. Because the leaves are shed before setting, the cotton fibers in the bolls remain clean, making it possible to harvest the cotton in a single pick. The chemical works well in both cool and hot weather conditions.
Precautions:
– Do not use the chemical on crops other than cotton.
– Restrictions for cultivated plants planted in the cotton field used by BAYSTAR
Carrot Do not plant until 3 months
Legumes, alfalfa, root and leafy vegetables are edible Do not plant until 2 months
Cereals, legumes, corn Do not plant until 2 months
